From the beginning of next year we will significantly expand our range of handcrafted unique pieces. Many great and high-quality replicas of medieval and antique jewelry such as rings, brooches or earrings are planned. First up is a fabulous Roman pendant:
The replica made of 925/- sterling silver, which is almost true to the original, was deliberately "imperfectly" worked out in order to come as close as possible to the antique model. The shape is not perfectly symmetrical to exclude the “cold” perfection of modern industrial products. In addition, all surfaces show the processing marks and patinations typical of the time.
As a Roman pendant that is almost true to the original, it is of course decorated with a surrounding "plaited wire". At the tip of the pendant you can see the typical Roman ball decorations. The grooved eyelet at the top also has four decorative beads.
The real emerald in the center of the pendant was set as a rough stone, analogous to the historical model. This brings the trailer extremely close to the antique model.
The Roman pendant was marked on the back with a studio stamp and the silver content stamp “925”.
