In Ulrichstein in the Vogelsberg district (Hesse) We offer the opportunity to successfully put personal jewelry ideas into practice under the guidance of a very experienced goldsmith and in a relaxed environment.

In our goldsmith courses, we would like to give those who are interested the opportunity to gain initial experience in goldsmithing and to realize their own ideas. We offer advanced users the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and build more complex pieces of jewellery. Groups can spend time with friends and creative jewelry design. Those who are willing to marry forge their own personal wedding rings together.

Our regular weekly goldsmith courses are probably particularly suitable for interested parties from Ulrichstein and the surrounding area, from the Vogelsberg district between Schotten and Lauterbach, from the Main-Taunus district or from the Main-Kinzig district. The weekend goldsmith courses are certainly ideal for interested parties from the greater Wetzlar, Gießen, Marburg, Fulda or Frankfurt area.

But a weekend goldsmith course is also very interesting for participants from further afield if you combine it with a short holiday in our beautiful Vogelsbergkreis and for example with a visit to volcano in Scots or des Hoherodskopf combines.

We are happy to give you tips on possible accommodation - depending on availability, the accommodation is even in the immediate vicinity of our course room (only a few minutes' walk in the same place).

In our fully equipped workshop course room there are a total of 35 goldsmith workstations on 6 square meters, so that individual support for the individual course participants is ensured at all times. In addition to the classic craft activities such as sawing, filing and soldering, all the other work steps that are necessary for the finished piece of jewelry are shown and tried out yourself.

If you already have your own ideas, you are welcome to bring sketches, drafts or sample photos with you; if not, you will of course receive suggestions.

In addition to a cozy seating area for coffee in between and a small jewelry library, there is also a tea bar with delicious nibbles - and now even underfloor heating and a wood stove. 😉

By the way: Although our goldsmith studio has now specialized in the production of replicas of historical pieces of jewelry, we have of course mastered all of the classic work techniques of modern jewelry making.

Your course leader:

Stefani Köster, born in 1968.

Stefani has been working since her Apprenticeship as a goldsmith now more than 30 years in this profession, including the last 16 years with his own studio or shop, including regular goldsmithing courses.

After moving to Ulrichstein in the Vogelsberg district, she mainly concentrated on organizing courses in addition to various commissioned works for various museums, collectors and private individuals.

Her extensive work experience, her Additional knowledge as a restorer and the many years of teaching craft skills as part of goldsmithing courses enable her to actively support the course participants from the initial idea to the successful implementation of their own pieces of jewelry.
