Gelderland's most important regional museum Museum “Het Valkhof” in Nijmegen (Netherlands), has a recording from July 2020 our gemstone book cover for the “Museum Activities” section on the official Museum website.
Previously, our book cover was in the exhibition “Middeleeuws reason – Interactieve familietentoonstelling” (“Medieval Ingenuity – Interactive Family Exhibition”) at Museum Het Valkhof.
I am particularly touched by this illustration because I am the same age as this boy at the time Green Vault in Dresden from “gem fever” was captured – and it has never let go of me since.
I hope, for once, I will be forgiven for this emotional admission... 😉
