Description
The centerpiece of the important gold treasure of Preslav or Preslav in Bulgaria is a delicate gold necklace of a Byzantine princess, which is decorated all over with the finest enamel fittings, pearls and precious stones. One of the pendants of this necklace with an enchanting depiction of the praying Mary was the inspiration for our handcrafted enameled earrings or earrings made of gold-plated silver.
Like the Byzantine model, our earring replicas were provided with a pearl wreath made of the finest seed pearls and the bridge enamel with the depiction of the Virgin Mary was elaborately burned, ground, polished and set into the gold-plated earrings by hand in several passes.
