Replica of the ring of Emperor Henry IV, which went down in history with the famous “City to Canossa”. He wore this ring at his burial place in Speyer Cathedral in 1111.
750/- yellow gold, large star sapphire (13 x 11,5 mm) with approx. 12 ct,
Several elaborate arcade versions,
3 cultured pearls each approx. 5,5 mm in diameter,
True to the original inscription “ADELBERO EPS”,
ring size 54/55,
The original in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate has a number of deformations. We made the ring the way the medieval goldsmiths probably imagined it - without the damage.
