In its diversity, the Rhineland is one of the oldest and liveliest cultural regions - in the middle of Europe. The cultural institutions and initiatives of the Rhineland Regional Council (“LVR”) shape this cultural landscape.
The LVR maintains museums, oversees the preservation of monuments, takes care of the preservation and protection of archaeological monuments, investigates current and historical developments in society with its scientists and looks after and secures historical archives.
In the "LVR culture report 2018” of the Department of Culture and Landscape Cultural Preservation of the LVR from May 2019 is published in a summary of the exhibition activities of the LVR State Museum in Bonn our precious gem binding gezeigt.
