A breathtakingly beautiful piece of jewelry from the Middle Ages was the inspiration for our latest highlight in our museum-quality replica jewelry range: a fantastically beautiful medieval pendant with a large sapphire.
From our point of view, this pendant is another highlight of our efforts to come as close as possible to the medieval models.
Unfortunately, the surrounding pearl wreath is missing in the antique model. It was therefore a very special pleasure for us to reproduce the piece of jewelery as the medieval goldsmith might have made it.
However, the surrounding inscription and the matching suspension are entirely on our account 😉
The first thing that probably catches your eye is the oversized (10 x 13 mm) and deep blue one Sapphire in the eye. The mugged cut and the exciting color distribution could certainly come directly from the Middle Ages. In this quality, which is almost true to the original, it fits perfectly into this tasteful ensemble.
Even the dark red ones that were specially ground in by hand almandine are in no way inferior to their antique models. Together with the white cultured pearls, they follow the well-known color canon of such medieval treasures - such as the works from the Middle Ages Burgundy .
With our hand-made and slightly patinated circular lettering “Auro loquente omnis oratio inanis est”, which means something like “When gold speaks, then the world is silent”, we have treated ourselves to an exciting and very special aspect . And the particularly elaborate eyelet with the two side pearls also complements our replica perfectly.
From our point of view, such a medieval pendant is the perfect addition to a particularly elaborate medieval costume or even for a noble modern knight 😉
We are already quite immodestly certain that this eye-catching piece of jewelery will probably draw a lot of attention and many compliments to the wearer.
